Managing CRM Contacts

How to create, organize, and track contacts in the CRM.

Creating a Contact

To add a new CRM contact:

  1. Go to CRM > Contacts in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add Contact.
  3. Fill in the contact details: name, email, phone, company, job title, and address.
  4. Set the contact type: Lead, Prospect, Client, Past Client, Vendor, Referral, or Other.
  5. Optionally set the lead source, lead score, next follow-up date, and date of birth.
  6. Click Save.

Lead Scoring

Each contact has a lead score from 0 to 100 that helps you prioritize your outreach:

  • 0-30 (Cold) — New or unqualified lead.
  • 31-60 (Warm) — Showing interest, needs nurturing.
  • 61-80 (Hot) — Highly engaged, ready for action.
  • 81-100 (Very Hot) — Immediate priority, likely to convert.

Update lead scores as you interact with contacts to keep your pipeline organized.

Contact Detail Page

Click on any contact to view their detail page, which shows associated deals, activity history, and related tasks. You can log activities (calls, emails, meetings, notes) directly from the contact page.
