Field Types Explained

CloseRelay supports nine field types for document signing:

• Signature — A full signature field. Signers can draw, type, or upload their signature.
• Initials — A smaller field for initials only.
• Text — A free-form text input field for names, addresses, or other information.
• Date Signed — Automatically fills with the date when the signer signs. Cannot be edited by the signer.
• Date — A date field that the signer can fill in manually.
• Name — A text field pre-filled with the signer name.
• Checkbox — A binary yes/no selection box.
• Radio Button — An option selector for choosing one option from a group.
• Strikethrough — A line drawn through existing text to indicate deletion or removal.

For date fields, you can choose from several display formats:

• MM/DD/YYYY (default)
• DD/MM/YYYY
• YYYY-MM-DD
• Month DD, YYYY
