Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add an extra layer of security to your account with 2FA.

Setting Up 2FA

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. To enable it:

  1. Go to Settings > Security.
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) or enter the manual setup key.
  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app.
  5. Save your backup codes in a secure location. These are one-time-use codes for account recovery if you lose access to your authenticator.

Logging In with 2FA

When 2FA is enabled, after entering your email and password you will be prompted to enter a verification code from your authenticator app. You can check Remember this device for 30 days to skip 2FA on trusted devices.

Disabling 2FA

To disable 2FA, go to Settings > Security and click Disable Two-Factor Authentication. You may need to verify your identity before disabling.
